Bike stand

I recently bought a bike and wanted to make a stand for it, because i have a little boy (two year old), that loves to be with me working in the garage, and im afraid that he would knock the bike over him. With  a stand the bike stays more secure and will not tip over.

First i made a prototype out of wood that worked grate:

And then one made with Steel:
